i currently am using a 10mbit unmetered plan i got from hivelocity which has been awesome not only support wise from them but also in performance for the little $79 a month sum

currently i have been looking for a 100mbit umnmetered plan from fdcservers for $159 sincre thats the cheapest i have found for the amount of transfer included and speeds.
http://www.fdcservers.net/dedicated.html
i am wanting to know if anyone has used them or if they would recommend fdc and if the speeds are good.

I prefer Hivelocity over FDC. Have heard bad comments about FDC network. You get what you pay for. An unmetered 100mbps line can cost $1000 at least

First of all, I realize this is an old topic, but I just wanted to throw my two cents in on FDC, mainly because this post is number 3 in google when you search FDCServers

Haha, anyways, I used to use HiVelocity and switched to FDCServers because of the price mainly. I had a dedicated 10mbps connection with HiVelocity and it was located closer to me (West coast, and I’m West Coast) then my Chicago FDCServer. The FDC Server has a better response time and is a 10mbps Shared connection. Upgrading is cheaper in the long run; overall a better service… although I do miss the live chat; but they do have fast response and resolution times

Anyways, that’s my 2 cents.

100mbps unmetered line for $159 sounds creepy..
Search for host as per your requirement and monthly budget. You should not get attracted to the web hosting company which claims to sell servers at the cost of peanut.

If you read the pricing, that is a 100mbps shared line, but it’s not slow like most 100mbps shared, it is faster. I know many who have those servers, and who have come from other unmetered shared providers.

Anyways, like I said, I get a 10mbps SHARED line from FDC and it is faster than the dedicated 10mbps line from HiVelocity.

FDC has added alot of capicity.

Current Bandwidth Usage: 14Gb/s with over 20Gb/s capicity.

FDC forums have additional information.
