I am running a media site providing content related to music. At this point I am using around 40-50GB per day. I am looking for an unmetered atleast 20Mbps server. So far I have seen one at the Planet for $199 (with $99 setup) and it will cost me $220 including the cpanel.
Looking for suggestions.
Shall we assume you are capable of securing, managing the server and that Cogent Bandwidth is ok with you?
I can manage the server upto an extent. Not sure about cogent bandwidth (any comparison with the lot?)
I can think of bandwidth worse than Cogent, there’s people out there that I’d pick Cogent above any day, admitedly, in Europe their peering with some other large providers can be a bit weird due to only peering in one or two locations.
So, does server matrix serve cogent’s bandwidth?
Can I get a server for the specs I have mentioned?
